Resize FAQ

Does resizing keep the aspect ratio?

Yes, by default. Lock is on — changing width recalculates height automatically, and vice versa. You can unlock it for custom dimensions.

What's the largest size I can resize to?

Up to 8000px per side. That cap exists to keep your browser from freezing on an unreasonably large canvas allocation.

What happens if I enter an invalid width or height?

The Resize button is disabled and a clear error is shown until the value is a valid positive whole number.

Does resizing change the image format?

No — the output keeps the same format as the original file.
